Social Media Intern

About the role

The Social Media Intern will support NerdzFactory Company’s communications team by creating and managing content across its social channels. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in digital marketing while working in a fast‑paced advertising environment in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing posts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
• Support the planning and execution of digital marketing and communication campaigns.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the online community.
• Collaborate with the Communications team to develop creative assets that align with the brand.
• Track performance metrics using analytics tools and prepare regular reports.
• Research industry trends, audience preferences and competitor activities to inform content strategy.
• Ensure all published content is accurate, consistent and meets organisational communication goals.

Required profile

• Minimum a BSc degree.
• 0‑1 year of experience in a similar social media or digital marketing role.
• Based in Lagos, Nigeria.

• Monthly stipend ranging from NGN 70,000 to NGN 150,000.
