SME Loan Officer

About the role

LiteFi Limited is seeking an SME Loan Officer to join its Lagos team. You will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding small‑ and medium‑enterprise clients who need collateral‑secured loans, while ensuring portfolio quality and meeting growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire quality SME clients through direct marketing, referrals, networking and relationship management.
• Conduct detailed collateral appraisal, valuation and inspection for each loan proposal.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for loan origination, disbursement and portfolio performance.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2‑3 years experience as a Loan Officer in Lagos, Nigeria.
• Strong understanding of wealth management products, especially fixed‑income and deposit‑like offerings.
• Proven ability to leverage existing networks to generate sales.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and ethical standards.
• Awareness of the Nigerian financial market.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software.
