Service Engineer – Mining Equipment

About the role

The Service Engineer will be responsible for delivering comprehensive on‑site support for mining equipment, ensuring optimal performance through maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with customers to provide technical solutions and support the company’s service branding initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute service work orders covering inspection, cleaning, maintenance, overhaul and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Handle machine receiving, dismantling, shipping, installation, operation, inspection, rust‑proofing and cleaning.
• Participate in product improvement programs, technology upgrades and feedback loops for product quality.
• Submit service order, dispatch, TSI information and warranty part applications.
• Provide technical solutions to customers, sell spare parts and meet spare‑parts sales targets.
• Collect feedback on local service policies, competitor activity and resource information.
• Assist with service branding, customer reception activities and warranty claim processing.
• Support the supervisor in delivering technical training.

Required profile

• College degree or higher.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience on mining or concrete equipment (e.g., concrete pump trucks, concrete mixer trucks).
• Strong knowledge of concrete equipment structure, assembly, debugging, engine, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to diagnose and analyse general mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems.
• Preferred: valid driver’s licence for operating concrete equipment.
