Senior Tax Manager

About the role

EST Audit is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead tax compliance, advisory and audit engagements for a diverse client base. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, guide a team of tax professionals, and help clients navigate complex tax regulations while identifying strategic planning opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, review and filing of federal, state and local tax returns and statutory submissions.
• Monitor legislative changes, assess impact on clients and recommend tax planning strategies.
• Lead tax audit and investigation engagements, liaise with tax authorities and develop responses to queries and assessments.
• Supervise Tax Managers and Associates, allocate work, monitor performance and promote professional development.
• Ensure quality assurance, risk management and confidentiality across all tax engagements.
• Support business development by preparing proposals, presentations and expanding professional networks.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Professional tax qualification such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum 36 months of relevant tax experience, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.
