Senior Programme Manager

About the role

The Senior Programme Manager will serve as the operational backbone of the CADY initiative, translating strategic goals into measurable programme delivery. This role coordinates stakeholder relationships, oversees facility remediation, and ensures timely execution of equipment procurement across multiple creative departments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution and monitoring of all CADY workstreams.
• Coordinate facility remediation projects at Yabatech, tracking contractor timelines, budgets and outcomes.
• Manage procurement and deployment of equipment for Drawing, Painting, Textile, Graphics, Ceramics and Fashion departments.
• Maintain a CADY activity calendar aligned with academic schedules and Alára’s operational rhythm.
• Act as primary liaison between Alára, Yabatech administration and Technical Working Committee members.
• Manage relationships with external partners, sponsors, donors and government agencies.
• Develop and oversee the CADY programme budget, tracking expenditures against allocated funds.
• Produce high‑quality programme reports, maintain documentation and draft external communications.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of programme or project management experience, ideally in education, culture or development sectors.
• Proven track record managing multi‑stakeholder initiatives with government or institutional partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing executive‑level documents independently.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial reporting.
• Understanding of the Nigerian tertiary education landscape, especially arts and vocational training.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Asana, Notion (or equivalent project‑management tools) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
