Security Systems Installation & IT Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Security Systems Installation & IT Engineer to join our team in Lagos. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of security equipment while providing technical support to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair alarm devices, CCTV, access‑control systems, electric fences and related equipment according to electrical blueprints and building plans.
• Mount control panels, sensors, cameras and run electrical and telephone wiring to connect all components.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair circuits, sensors and wiring to ensure proper functionality.
• Route cables through walls, roof spaces and cavities, terminating them correctly.
• Demonstrate system operation to customers and explain causes of false alarms.
• Complete installation/maintenance forms and provide detailed reports to the Customer Service unit.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a security systems engineer or installer.
• OND or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Live within the Oworonshoki, Gbagada, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki or Ajah axis.
• Full‑time availability for onsite work in Lagos and occasional assignments in Abuja.

Required skills

• Installation of burglary alarm systems, CCTV, access‑control and electric fence solutions.
• Electrical wiring, circuit testing and repair.
• Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and building plans.
• Use of hand tools, power tools and basic heavy‑equipment for mounting equipment.
• Cable routing, termination and labeling.
• Basic electronic or phone repair (advantageous).
