Security Guard

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Security Guard to manage access and safety at our estate in Marina, Lagos. The role involves monitoring entry points, conducting patrols, and responding to emergencies while maintaining a courteous demeanor with residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control access at estate gates and entry/exit points.
• Verify resident passes, visitor information, and vehicle details before granting access.
• Record and maintain accurate logs of visitors, vehicles, and security incidents.
• Conduct routine foot patrols around the estate and its perimeter.
• Identify suspicious or unusual activities and report them promptly.
• Operate basic security and gate‑control equipment.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, fire outbreaks, medical situations, and crowd control.
• Enforce estate security rules and maintain professional interaction with all parties.
• Work day and night shifts with strict punctuality.
• Perform other security‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE with credit in English.
• Age between 20 and 35 years.
• Male height at least 5 ft 8 in (173 cm).
• Physically fit, good eyesight, and able to stand/patrol for long periods.
• Valid Nigerian ID (National ID, Driver’s Licence, or Voter’s Card).
• Two verifiable Lagos‑based guarantors (preferably civil servants, community leaders, or business owners).
• Willingness to undergo background and medical checks; clean criminal record required.
• Fluent in English and able to understand Nigerian Pidgin.
