About the role
The School House Mistress will join Elevation Professionals in Lagos to deliver high‑quality instruction and support to students. This full‑time position focuses on creating engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking, and nurturing personal development within an inclusive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver well‑structured lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Facilitate classroom discussions, case studies, and activities that promote critical thinking and problem‑solving.
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, projects and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of performance, attendance and communicate regularly with parents or guardians.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions and school‑wide events.
- Mentor students, supporting both academic and personal growth.
Required profile
- Minimum B.Ed., BSc or HND qualification.
- At least one year of teaching experience.
- Preferably residing in Ipaja, Isheri‑Idimu or nearby areas of Lagos.
