Sales Officer

About the role

The Sales Officer will act as the primary point of contact for prospective students and customers, handling inquiries across multiple channels and driving enrollment through effective sales and marketing techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to telephone, email, social media, live‑chat and walk‑in inquiries, providing accurate information on courses and services.
• Follow up daily on leads and marketing prospects to meet acquisition and enrollment targets.
• Convert qualified leads into registered clients or enrolled students using relationship‑building and sales tactics.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions and sales pipelines in the designated system.
• Create, schedule and publish promotional content on social media and digital platforms.
• Utilise AI tools such as ChatGPT to draft marketing copy, ads and articles efficiently.
• Upload and manage product listings, course outlines and campaign assets on online platforms.
• Monitor social media daily, responding promptly to comments, messages and reviews.
• Support lead generation through email newsletters, targeted campaigns and webinars.
• Guide prospects through application, enrollment and payment processes, ensuring compliance.
• Coordinate virtual or physical meetings, prepare reports, presentations and maintain secure databases.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Digital Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 2 years proven experience in sales, student recruitment or digital marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed conversion targets and customer satisfaction KPIs.
• Strong lead generation, relationship management and closing skills.
