Sales & Marketing Officer

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Officer will drive business growth for a legal services firm by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and supporting brand promotion. This full‑time position is based in Lagos and reports directly to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, networking events, and corporate visits.
• Generate, qualify, and manage leads, maintaining an active sales pipeline.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service offerings; negotiate and close deals, including retainership agreements.
• Meet and exceed monthly revenue and sales targets while tracking prospects from lead generation to conversion.
• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, seminars, webinars, and legal awareness programs.
• Monitor market trends, research competitors, and gather intelligence to inform business development strategies.
• Maintain professional communication with prospects and clients, support onboarding, and collect feedback for retention initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, business development, or client relationship management.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Target‑driven, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational and reporting capabilities.
