Sales Agent – Solar Energy Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Agent to promote SolarCorp’s solar energy solutions in Lagos. You will engage prospective customers, demonstrate our products and drive new sign‑ups for our CIRCOOL Solar Plans.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers through field prospecting, referrals, activations and direct marketing.
• Deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase solar solutions.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of leads, convert prospects into paying customers and achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Participate in daily field activities, roadshows, community activations and storming exercises.
• Record all customer interactions, leads and sales activities accurately.
• Submit regular sales reports and provide market intelligence to management.

Required profile

• Minimum OND, NCE, HND or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Up to two years of experience in sales, direct marketing, field sales or related sectors (FMCG, telecom, financial services, solar).
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Goal‑oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Resident of Lagos or surrounding areas and willing to work in the field.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.

What we offer

• Base salary of NGN 70,000 – 150,000 per month.
• Weekly sales commission of 5 % on verified personal sales.
