Research Analyst

About the role

The Research Analyst will work full‑time on site at Hassan Usman Katsina Polytechnic, designing and executing research studies to support institutional planning and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and conduct research studies, collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data.
• Prepare clear reports and presentations to inform academic programs and strategic initiatives.
• Monitor trends in education, labour markets and technology, performing market and policy analysis.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative units, maintain research databases and ensure data integrity.
• Contribute to grant proposals, research publications and multidisciplinary projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and solid knowledge of statistics for data collection, analysis and interpretation.
• Experience in educational, governmental or research institutions and knowledge of the Nigerian education landscape (advantageous).
• Commitment to ethical research practices and continuous learning.
