Research Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Research Analyst to join our team in Lagos. The role involves conducting primary and secondary research, analysing market trends, and delivering actionable insights to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research across various industries and compile quantitative and qualitative data.
• Monitor industry developments, market trends and emerging opportunities.
• Analyse market dynamics, consumer behaviour, competitor activities and produce benchmarking reports.
• Interpret complex data sets and create research reports, presentations, dashboards and executive summaries.
• Support consulting, business development and strategic projects with research inputs and feasibility studies.
• Maintain research databases, knowledge repositories and contribute to thought‑leadership content.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting (first‑class degree preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in research, market intelligence or business analysis, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities.
• Ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders and management.
