About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a hospital setting, ensuring compliance with professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements. The role involves comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough nursing assessments on admission and throughout hospitalization.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Monitor, record, and report vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress.
• Administer medications and treatments safely as prescribed.
• Perform nursing procedures such as wound dressing, catheterization, IV therapy, injections, and specimen collection.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in electronic or paper records.
• Educate patients and families on disease conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, laboratory staff, and other team members during ward rounds and handovers.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control policies, including proper use of PPE.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.NSc.) or equivalent nursing qualification.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Nigeria.
• Commitment to professional development and continuing education.
