Regional Solar Installation & Maintenance Technician – Mid West

About the role

Sun King is looking for a highly skilled Regional Solar Installation & Maintenance Technician to lead technical service delivery for solar inverter systems across the Mid‑West region of Nigeria. You will be the primary technical contact, ensuring installations meet quality standards and customers receive exceptional support.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot and repair Sun King solar inverter systems for customers in the assigned zone.
• Monitor system performance remotely, diagnose issues, and schedule proactive maintenance visits.
• Conduct on‑site and remote audits of installations, ensuring compliance with technical and safety checklists.
• Onboard, train, and manage a network of third‑party installers, providing technical guidance and performance reviews.
• Document service activities, spare‑parts usage and submit regular reports to the After‑Sales Manager.
• Promote safety and ensure all activities adhere to Sun King’s health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• A degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven experience with solar inverter installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and identify potential failures.
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and installer training.
