About the role
The Akwa Ibom State Civil Service is recruiting junior staff across a wide range of ministries and departments. Candidates of Akwa Ibom State origin are invited to apply for positions ranging from clerical officers and messengers to technical assistants, sport officials, and support staff.
Required profile
- Minimum educational qualification of First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) or equivalent, with higher qualifications (SSCE/WASC, GCE O/L) where specified.
- Relevant secondary school certificates with required credit passes (four credits in one sitting or five credits in two sittings) for clerical and administrative grades.
- Specific professional or technical certificates where indicated, such as OND in Business Administration, Public Administration, Survey, Computer Studies, Sports Management, or Trade Test for drivers/mechanics.
- Physical and mental fitness for positions such as watchman, porter, and security roles.
