Receptionist – Salon Front Desk

About the role

Join Tasala HQ Hair and Beauty as the first point of contact for our clients. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage appointments and support the daily operations of a busy salon.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients warmly and ensure a pleasant experience.
• Manage the salon’s appointment system, schedule, confirm and adjust bookings.
• Answer phone calls, respond to messages and handle client inquiries promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organised and inviting reception and waiting area.
• Coordinate client check‑in and check‑out, including processing payments.
• Keep accurate records of client visits and update the client database.
• Support stylists and management with daily administrative tasks.
• Promote salon services, retail products and ongoing promotions.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑facing or reception role; salon or spa experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and demeanour.
• Minimum OND or equivalent education.

Required skills

• Booking software or digital scheduling tools.
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, POS systems).
