Quantity Surveyor – Lagos, Marina

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its Lagos office. You will be responsible for managing cost planning, contract administration and financial control across a range of construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to influence project decisions through accurate cost advice.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and project budgets.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new projects.
• Develop cost plans and monitor expenditure throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate contractor quotations and support procurement.
• Administer contracts, assess interim valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, produce regular cost reports and financial forecasts.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress, measure work and value completed items for payment.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Membership of NIQS or QSRBN is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost management or construction project administration.
• Experience managing infrastructure, civil engineering or building projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
