Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer – Warri

About the role

Nestoil Plc is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer to join its drilling and completions team in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of equipment, materials, and critical operations on oil‑field rigs, supporting the company’s commitment to safety and excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and witness FAT/SIT as required.
• Verify Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) and Material Test Reports (MTRs) for tubulars, wellheads, BOPs, and elastomers.
• Oversee casing/tubing procedures, confirming drifts, tallies, torque/turn graphs, and connection make‑up acceptance criteria.
• Validate mud checks and cement slurry quality (density, rheology, free‑fluid, thickening time) and review laboratory results.
• Audit permits, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and lifting plans; verify calibration of gauges, load cells, torque equipment, and flow meters.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of QA/QC experience in drilling or completions.
• Strong familiarity with API and ISO standards for OCTG, BOP, and wellheads.
• Valid BOSIET/HUET certification.
