Quality Assurance Manager (Hybrid, Lagos)

About the role

Beacon Power Services is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Manager to lead and elevate quality practices across its software delivery lifecycle. Based in Lagos with a hybrid work arrangement, you will own product quality end‑to‑end, ensuring each release meets high standards for reliability, performance, and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement QA strategy, standards, and testing frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and enforce release quality gates.
• Lead end‑to‑end testing activities including functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT.
• Own the defect lifecycle: logging, prioritization, tracking, and resolution.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Management, and DevOps to triage issues and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Conduct risk assessments, investigate production issues, and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain QA documentation, test plans, metrics, and reporting.
• Lead, develop, and manage a high‑performing QA team, handling hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and capacity planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software quality assurance across the SDLC in Agile environments.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing QA teams.
• Ability to collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and drive a shift‑left testing culture.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
