QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and scale automated testing frameworks for our micro‑service based digital finance platform. You will collaborate closely with backend developers, SREs, and DevOps to ensure releases are predictable, traceable, and fast.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing frameworks for RESTful APIs, Kafka events, and UI flows.
• Develop and maintain regression suites integrated into Jenkins, Bitbucket CI pipelines, and other CI/CD tools.
• Validate microservice interactions, including databases, messaging systems, and external integrations.
• Refactor manual test cases for automation readiness and mentor QA engineers on best practices.
• Incorporate performance and reliability testing into CI/CD pipelines with SRE collaboration.
• Monitor and visualize test results using Allure, Prometheus, and Grafana dashboards.
• Perform root‑cause analysis using logs, metrics, and traces (ELK, Loki, CloudWatch).

Required profile

• 5+ years of test automation experience, preferably in microservices or fintech environments.
• Strong Java coding skills with TestNG/JUnit 5 and framework design experience.
• Proficiency in REST Assured, Postman, Swagger, Selenium/Selenide/Playwright.
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, and Testcontainers.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Solid debugging skills using Allure, Grafana, and Prometheus metrics.
• Understanding of OAuth2/JWT security flows for API validation.
