Public Relations Officer

About the role

The Saints Christian Centre is seeking a dynamic Public Relations Officer to lead evangelism, community engagement and member care initiatives. This full‑time position combines outreach, media liaison and pastoral support to strengthen the church’s presence in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Evangelism & Gospel Outreach (40%): organise door‑to‑door campaigns, street witnessing, open‑air crusades and follow‑up discipleship programmes.
• Community Engagement & Public Relations (25%): build relationships with local officials, businesses and organisations; represent the church at public forums and coordinate community service projects.
• Member Relations & Pastoral Care (20%): maintain regular contact with members, conduct home and hospital visits, manage confidential member records and support conflict resolution.
• Communications Coordination & Support (10%): collaborate with the Content Creator to promote campaigns on social media and ensure the website reflects current outreach activities.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with up to 12 months of relevant experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and networking abilities.
• Commitment to Christian values and a passion for community service.
• Ability to organise events, manage records and work collaboratively with volunteers.
