About the role
The Public Health Assistant will support patients with daily living activities and assist healthcare professionals in delivering quality care. This role is based in Lagos and involves maintaining a safe and hygienic environment while accurately documenting patient information.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care and daily living activities.
- Support healthcare professionals in delivering patient care.
- Monitor, record, and report patients' vital signs and health observations.
- Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and transfers safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic care environment.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
- Accurately document patient care activities and observations.
- Follow healthcare policies, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines.
Required profile
- Minimum of a BSc degree.
- At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
