Project Engineer – Metal Fabrication & Furniture

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Project Engineer to lead metal fabrication and furniture projects, overseeing design, manufacturing and delivery of smart doors, gates and furniture. The role involves coordinating teams of welders, carpenters and sales staff to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Interact daily with clients to interpret requirements and represent them on site.
• Control project quality, budget, schedule and personnel performance, reporting status regularly.
• Review engineering deliverables, initiate corrective actions and provide technical support to the project team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of design and visualization software, particularly AutoCAD.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, best practices and performance standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics or a related field (preferred).
