About the role
We are looking for a Project Engineer to support operations and technical projects within a petroleum‑engineering environment. The role combines engineering knowledge, project management and health‑and‑safety oversight to ensure safe and efficient delivery of equipment such as pumps, pressure vessels and valves.
Required profile
- A qualification in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, Office Administration or Risk Management (Health & Safety).
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Minimum three years of experience in operations, engineering or technical departments of petroleum, engineering, construction or similar companies, preferably with LPG exposure.
- Understanding of safety, technical and engineering components, designs and applications (e.g., pumps, pressure vessels, valves).
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation such as OHS‑Act, SANS Standards and API Codes.
- Strong verbal and non‑verbal communication, negotiation and customer‑service orientation.
