Professional Driver – Transport & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a reliable professional driver to transport staff, clients, and goods safely across Lagos and surrounding areas. The role involves operating company vehicles, planning routes, and ensuring all transport activities comply with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, clients, goods, and materials to assigned destinations.
• Operate company vehicles responsibly and in compliance with traffic laws.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks before and after use.
• Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
• Plan efficient routes considering traffic conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance.
• Monitor tyres, engine oil, brakes, lights, battery, and other basic components.
• Report mechanical faults, accidents, damages, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods or materials when required.
• Securely handle company property, documents, and transported goods.
• Perform official errands, deliveries, and collections as assigned.
• Ensure vehicle registration, insurance, licence, and other documents remain valid.
• Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, breakdowns, or unexpected road conditions.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Proven professional driving experience (minimum 2 years).
• Valid Nigerian driver’s licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• Experience as a company, corporate, or professional driver.
• Good knowledge of local and major routes.
• Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, disciplined, and trustworthy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate vehicle and trip records.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible hours.
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

What we offer

• Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 70,000 to NGN 150,000.
