Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager will lead the manufacturing floor, turning sales orders and forecasts into efficient production plans. You will ensure material availability, maintain quality standards, and drive continuous improvement across all processes.

Key responsibilities

• Translate sales orders and forecasts into executable production schedules.
• Coordinate with Procurement to secure materials ahead of production cycles.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly output against targets and remove bottlenecks.
• Document, enforce and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Lead, coach and develop the production team, running daily briefings and shift handovers.
• Embed quality checks into the process, investigate defects and reduce rework.
• Track production KPIs, capacity constraints and provide regular reports.
• Collaborate with Facilities, HSE, Design, Product and HR teams on safety, new product introductions and staffing.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of managing production teams and meeting output targets.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and process control.
• Hands‑on experience creating and enforcing SOPs and quality systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, bills of materials and production specifications.
