Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing food ingredients, kitchen supplies, packaging materials, and other operational items for our hospitality business. You will work closely with the Head Chef and operations teams to ensure timely and cost‑effective procurement that supports smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify reliable vendors, negotiate pricing and secure cost‑efficient contracts.
• Compare supplier quotations and recommend the most economical purchasing options.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, documentation, and a supplier database.
• Monitor market price trends and suggest improvements to purchasing processes.
• Track inventory levels and generate purchase orders when stock runs low.
• Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to understand stock needs and ingredient planning.
• Ensure delivered goods meet quality standards and verify receipts.
• Support cost‑control and waste‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: OND (Ordinary National Diploma).
• At least 12 months of experience in a similar procurement role.
• Entry‑level candidate with a strong interest in supply chain and hospitality.
