Procurement Manager – Real Estate & Branch Roll‑out

About the role

The Procurement Manager will own end‑to‑end strategic sourcing, real‑estate acquisition, commercial lease negotiation and vendor onboarding for Moniepoint’s nationwide physical expansion. Reporting to the Head of Third Party Management & Procurement, the role drives timely, cost‑effective rollout of regional offices and experience centres across major Nigerian cities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead market search, identification and commercial evaluation of prospective real‑estate assets across target states.
• Assess properties against spatial templates, focusing on open‑plan or multi‑level commercial buildings.
• Negotiate commercial leases and acquisitions, securing competitive rents, rent‑free fit‑out periods, flexible renewal clauses and long‑term tenure.
• Partner with legal counsel and certified estate surveyors to conduct due diligence on land titles, statutory encumbrances and structural viability.
• Develop and execute a centralized procurement strategy for multi‑site branch roll‑outs and building retrofits.
• Create a pre‑qualified vendor matrix for construction professionals, civil‑works subcontractors, specialist installers and suppliers.
• Standardise pricing agreements for brand‑specific elements such as cladding systems, partitioning, curtain‑wall systems and exterior LED signage.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and commercial lease negotiations.
• Strong background in real‑estate procurement and site acquisition for large‑scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and oversee construction‑related procurement.
