Private Cook – Household Chef

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Private Cook to join a high‑profile household in Marina, Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing daily meals that reflect both continental and Nigerian culinary traditions, ensuring the highest standards of taste, nutrition, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for the household.
• Develop menus that incorporate continental and Nigerian dishes, with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Manage grocery shopping, inventory, and storage of food items.
• Prepare soups and specialty dishes to exacting quality standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while coordinating with household staff as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum education: S.S.C.E (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of experience as a private, household, or personal chef.
• Honest, discreet, respectful, and trustworthy character.
• Calm, professional attitude and ability to thrive in a private‑home environment.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

What we offer
