Price Variance & Financial Planning Manager – BU VIC

About the role

This position is responsible for managing price variance reporting, savings initiatives and financial planning for the Business Unit VIC. You will work closely with procurement, treasury and commercial teams to ensure accurate pricing, FX exposure and budget alignment across the manufacturing portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and analyse price variance reports, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Support procurement by processing VIC accruals, reversals and one‑off transactions.
• Validate FX and commodity rates, monitor hidden exposures and coordinate with treasury.
• Maintain price reconciliation for COGNOS builds and manage finished‑goods data in CTRM.
• Oversee forecast accuracy for consumption volumes, conversion factors and commodity volumes.
• Validate BU markup, reconcile ERP and Mubex postings and support annual bottom‑up budgeting.
• Collaborate with control, MUBEX and finance partners on variance commentary and reporting.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general accounting and consolidation practices.
• Experience working in an ERP environment, preferably SAP FI/CO and SAP BW.
• Project management and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Comfort with process‑oriented organisations and data‑driven decision making.
• University degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field; MBA/CIMA/CA advantageous.
