POS Terminal Agent – Merchant Onboarding

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic POS Terminal Agent to drive merchant acquisition for Moniepoint’s payment solutions in Lagos. You will work directly with business owners, introducing them to our POS products and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach business owners who need POS terminals.
• Promote Moniepoint POS products and services to prospective merchants.
• Register and onboard new merchants onto the Moniepoint platform.
• Educate customers on the benefits and usage of POS terminals.
• Assist merchants with terminal setup and activation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants.
• Monitor merchant activity and provide basic support.
• Achieve assigned onboarding and sales targets.
• Submit regular reports on field activities and merchant acquisition.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: SSCE, OND, NCE, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Previous experience in sales, field marketing, POS deployment, or customer acquisition is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Good knowledge of Lagos business environment and merchant locations.
• Self‑motivated, energetic and customer‑focused.
• Smartphone usage and basic digital literacy.
