Pharmacist Lead

About the role

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical chain store, is looking for a highly skilled Pharmacist Lead to oversee pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care to customers and patients. The role involves managing daily pharmacy activities, accurate dispensing, and maintaining professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure accurate dispensing of prescription medications.
• Provide patient counseling and professional advice on medication usage and side effects.
• Monitor compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and ethical standards.
• Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and other support staff.
• Maintain proper inventory levels, manage stock to prevent shortages or expiries.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
• Maintain documentation and pharmacy records in line with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure a clean, organized pharmacy environment that meets health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (D.Pharm) degree from a recognised institution.
• Valid practising licence from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
• Minimum 2–3 years post‑qualification experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.
• Residence in Ogudu, Ketu, Gbagada or surrounding areas.
• Ability to commence work within three weeks of offer.
