Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Lagos. The successful candidate will dispense medications, counsel patients, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while supporting a collaborative pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications following regulatory guidelines.
• Review prescriptions for dosage accuracy, drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Counsel patients on safe and effective use of prescribed and over‑the‑counter medicines.
• Maintain precise pharmacy records and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage, handling, and security of pharmaceutical products.
• Supervise pharmacy support staff when required.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Participate in health promotion and patient education initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
• Current practicing license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria.
• 2–5 years post‑qualification experience in retail, hospital, or community pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, ethics, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy management software.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
