Pharmacist

About the role

The Pharmacy team is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to dispense prescriptions, provide medication counseling, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role combines patient care, inventory oversight, and team leadership in a fast‑paced retail or community pharmacy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Maintain compliance with PCN, NAFDAC, and company SOPs, including proper record‑keeping for prescriptions and controlled substances.
• Manage inventory: stock control, ordering, expiry tracking, cold‑chain management, and prevention of stock‑outs or overstock.
• Provide over‑the‑counter recommendations, health advice, and conduct basic health checks such as blood pressure or glucose measurements when applicable.
• Train and supervise pharmacy assistants or interns, handle daily operations, and resolve customer complaints professionally.

Required profile

• B.Pharm degree with successful NYSC completion.
• 2–4 years post‑licensing experience in retail/community or hospital pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of drug interactions, inventory systems, and high standards of customer service.
• Excellent attention to detail and ethical conduct.
• Ability to commute easily to Victoria Island.
