About the role
This entry‑level pharmacist position is based in Lagos and is ideal for students or recent graduates who are studying for a professional pharmacy qualification. You will work closely with a senior pharmacist, gaining hands‑on experience in a busy retail pharmacy environment while supporting daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare prescriptions by accurately counting, pouring and labeling medicines.
- Restock pharmacy shelves, monitor inventory levels and check expiration dates.
- Assist customers with basic queries, provide friendly service and hand out ready‑to‑collect orders.
- Enter prescription and stock data into computer systems and maintain organized filing of pharmacy records.
- Collaborate with the senior pharmacist at all times to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent basic entrance degree.
- Strong attention to detail to avoid errors with drug names and quantities.
- Good verbal communication skills for greeting and assisting customers.
