Part-time Baker – Lagos

About the role

We are looking for a reliable part‑time baker to join our early‑morning team at our Marina location in Lagos. You will be responsible for producing a range of bread products that meet our quality standards and support the daily needs of the restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and bake bread according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
• Mix, knead, ferment, proof, and bake dough while monitoring temperature and timing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking station and equipment.
• Measure ingredients accurately and follow portion‑control guidelines.
• Plan daily production, monitor stock levels, and report shortages.
• Ensure proper storage, rotation of ingredients (FIFO) and minimize waste.
• Assist kitchen teams to meet peak‑time demand and contribute to new bread variety development.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a baker, preferably focused on bread.
• Ability to work early shifts (starting at 5:30 AM), weekends and busy periods.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in product quality.
• Good hygiene and food‑safety practices.
• Culinary or baking certification is an advantage.

What we offer

• Monthly salary between NGN 70,000 and NGN 150,000 (not publicly displayed).
• Shift schedule: Monday‑Friday 5:30 AM‑10:00 AM, Saturday 5:30 AM‑10:00 AM, Sunday 7:00 AM‑1:00 PM with two days off per week.
• Location advantage for candidates residing in or near Ikeja GRA.
