Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead the execution of all billboard and out‑of‑home (OOH) advertising projects in Lagos. You will ensure campaigns are delivered on schedule, meet client specifications, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards. This role works closely with sales, client services, and external vendors to guarantee seamless handovers and high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of billboard and OOH advertising projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise installation, maintenance, replacement, and removal of billboard structures and campaign materials.
• Ensure campaigns are executed accurately, on schedule, and according to client specifications.
• Manage installation crews, technicians, contractors, and third‑party vendors.
• Conduct regular site inspections for structural integrity, cleanliness, visibility, and compliance.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and government requirements.
• Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise resource use.
• Manage inventory of printing materials, equipment, tools, and operational assets.
• Prepare operational budgets, monitor project costs, and ensure profitability.
• Resolve operational issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Generate periodic operational reports, project updates, and performance metrics for management.
• Build and maintain relationships with landlords, regulatory agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Mass Communication or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within media, advertising, construction or signage.
• Proven experience managing billboard or OOH advertising operations is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, team management and problem‑solving abilities.
