Network & Infrastructure Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Network & Infrastructure Officer to join our IT team in Lagos. The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing our network and system infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Office 365 management, system integration, and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve network‑related issues such as connectivity problems, performance bottlenecks and security incidents.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and antivirus solutions.
• Monitor network performance, generate reports and take proactive steps to prevent downtime.
• Provide technical support to end‑users both on‑site and remotely.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of network configurations, procedures and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to deploy new technologies and resolve complex issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT operations, network administration or similar roles.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, Cisco or ITIL are a plus.
