Maintenance Officer / Technician – Full‑time

About the role

Rainoil Limited, a leading downstream oil and gas company in Nigeria, is seeking a Maintenance Officer/Technician to join its operations team. The role focuses on preventive, corrective and routine maintenance of plant equipment to minimise downtime and ensure safety.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out inspections according to the maintenance plan and document observations.
• Check fuel, oil and cooling water levels for all generator sets before start‑up.
• Troubleshoot control panels and identify potential issues.
• Perform daily dipping of ATK storage tanks, record generator consumption and maintain stock records.
• Service product pump strainers, connect/disconnect hoses for vessel reception, and verify line‑valve functionality.
• Grease and service control/line valves and sprinkler nozzles.
• Assist the team with repair or replacement of faulty equipment as required.
• Ensure the use of personal protective equipment and compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Sc. or HND in Engineering, Sciences, Social Sciences, Administration or Humanities.
• At least three years of experience in a core maintenance role within the oil & gas or manufacturing sector.
• Trade test qualification is a plus.
