About the role
We are seeking a proactive Loan Officer to join our team in Lagos. The role involves assessing loan applications, guiding customers through loan products, and ensuring accurate record‑keeping. You will play a key part in supporting our credit portfolio and fostering customer relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate loan applications and assess the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Communicate loan options, terms, and conditions clearly to customers.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of loan applications and approvals.
- Manage ongoing relationships to ensure timely repayment and business growth.
Required profile
- Minimum HND in a numerate discipline (e.g., Social, Management, Physical or Life Sciences).
- At least one year of relevant experience in commercial banks, MFBs or MFIs.
- Experience in SME lending is an advantage.
