Lesson Teacher

About the role
The Lesson Teacher will deliver tailored lessons to children re‑entering formal schooling after an extended break. You will implement the curriculum, assess learning gaps and create individualized plans to help students catch up and build confidence.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lessons for JSS and secondary levels, aligning with the Nigerian curriculum.
- Identify learning gaps, develop personalized learning plans, and monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate academic records and communicate updates to parents and staff.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that motivates and supports disadvantaged learners.
- Mentor students on study habits, school routines, and social skills to aid reintegration.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide holistic care and organize extracurricular activities.
Required profile
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably with JSS students.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian curriculum.
- Excellent communication, administrative and organisational abilities.
