Legal Officer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Legal Officer to join our team in Lagos. The role involves managing the company’s legal documentation, providing counsel on regulatory matters, and ensuring full compliance with Nigerian law.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and maintain all company legal documentation and records.
• Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Provide legal advice to management on policies and regulatory issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external regulatory bodies and legal representatives as needed.

Required profile

• B.Sc. (LL.B) in Law.
• Called to the Nigerian Bar.
• At least 2 years of post‑call experience is an advantage.
• Experience handling corporate documentation and legal matters.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of corporate law.
• Expertise in contract drafting.
• Proficiency in legal compliance and regulatory affairs.

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from NGN 150,000 to NGN 250,000 per month.
