About the role

Moniepoint is seeking a senior leader to own and drive the Quality Assurance strategy across its engineering teams. In this high‑impact role you will guide a group of QA analysts and engineers, ensuring that every product released meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the QA function across multiple engineering squads, establishing scalable quality standards, strategies, and frameworks.
• Mentor, coach, and manage QA analysts and engineers, fostering career growth and high performance.
• Design and enforce comprehensive test strategies, including manual, automated, regression, performance, and exploratory testing.
• Build and maintain dashboards and metrics to track QA performance such as test case coverage, bug leakage, and regression rates.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and engineering leadership to act as a gatekeeper of quality, reviewing requirements, documentation, and code when needed.
• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and team dynamics.
• Ensure deep product understanding within the QA team to create relevant, user‑centric test cases.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and scaling a QA team in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.
• Background as a QA analyst or engineer with hands‑on knowledge of software testing.
• Demonstrated ability to design test strategies and measure their effectiveness.
• Strong technical depth with understanding of APIs, microservices, and infrastructure.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and drive solutions.
