Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to support daily food production at Charz Grill by Pantry Express in Lagos. The role involves preparing ingredients, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and confirm daily orders.
• Prepare production information and order stickers.
• Measure and portion ingredients for the morning production team.
• Organize ingredients and the kitchen for the next day’s production.
• Monitor inventory and stock levels.
• Purchase and replenish ingredients when required.
• Receive and organize supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of stock and kitchen expenses.
• Support general food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and organization.

Required profile

• Female candidates with at least 1 year of kitchen or food service experience.
• Minimum SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately with good numeracy and record‑keeping skills.
• Strong organization, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical stamina to work 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and handle inventory tasks.
• Residence within 30 minutes of Yaba and surrounding areas.
