About the role
The Kitchen Assistant will support the daily operations of Downtown Grill’s Marina outlet in Lagos. Working closely with the kitchen team, you will help prepare finger foods, assemble take‑out orders and keep the work area clean and safe.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and portion finger foods according to restaurant standards.
- Assemble and package take‑out orders quickly and accurately.
- Wash dishes, clean equipment and maintain a hygienic workspace.
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times.
- Assist with basic cooking tasks such as frying, grilling and reheating under supervision.
Required profile
- 0–1 year of experience in a food‑service environment (no experience required).
- Minimum SSCE qualification.
- Live within proximity of the outlet.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting.
- Good communication, teamwork and reliability.
