Junior Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Junior Operations Coordinator will own the daily operational rhythm of BPL Nigeria Ltd, ensuring smooth data flow, technology health, and protocol compliance without needing escalation to senior leadership. This role bridges the trading floor and the technology team, guaranteeing that market data and systems are reliable and well‑documented.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations: verify morning data, run platform checks, log activities, and produce weekly performance reports for the CEO.
• Oversee technology stack health, including Windows Server VPS, Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), automated data pipelines, and the trading platform.
• Monitor automated processes, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate escalations with the technical lead.
• Maintain user access, file permissions, and folder architecture; document runbooks and system configurations.
• Ensure data integrity by enforcing naming conventions, storage standards, and coordinating with data providers.
• Serve as custodian of the operational protocol handbook, run weekly team meetings, and track trainee milestones.
• Build audit trails for regulatory compliance and manage vendor contracts and subscriptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.
• 4‑7 years of professional experience in financial services operations, technology operations, or a hybrid role.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent documentation habits.
