Junior Expeditor

About the role

The Junior Expeditor will support the supply chain team in managing purchase orders, coordinating imports, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers across Nigeria. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in logistics, procurement and customer communication within the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Requests for Quotes and correct discrepancies in customer and OEM purchase orders.
• Maintain and monitor the open orders spreadsheet.
• Inspect incoming orders for correct quantity and product specifications.
• Register and manage Forms ‘M’ with commercial banks for company importations.
• Process risk assessment reports with government‑appointed scanning companies.
• Coordinate customs agents to clear all imports.
• Record all communications with OEMs and customers regarding orders.
• Track orders from placement through delivery and update logistics teams.
• Update the goods inventory record and accompany deliveries to customer warehouses.
• Maintain the asset register in collaboration with the accountant.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by office managers.

Required skills
