Janitor

About the role

Beamer Bank is seeking a reliable Janitor to keep its Lagos office clean, safe, and welcoming. You will be responsible for daily cleaning of workspaces, meeting rooms, restrooms and common areas, ensuring a professional environment for staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum and sanitize assigned office areas on a regular schedule.
• Maintain clean and fully stocked restrooms, including waste removal.
• Clean windows, doors, furniture and other surfaces as needed.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any equipment issues.
• Report maintenance problems or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning meeting spaces when required.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Perform additional cleaning duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE/WAEC or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in janitorial, cleaning or office attendant roles is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit, trustworthy, punctual and detail‑oriented.
• Strong sense of confidentiality suitable for a financial institution.
• Residence in or around Ikorodu is strongly preferred.
