IT Auditor

About the role

We are a forward‑thinking financial institution seeking an experienced IT Auditor to strengthen our IT control environment. You will evaluate systems, applications, and processes to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage user access administration for core banking applications, including onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Conduct periodic reviews of system controls, operating procedures, communication security, backup, disaster recovery, and system maintenance.
• Perform risk assessments on IT infrastructure, covering threat analysis, enterprise security processes, and physical access controls.
• Evaluate system configuration, change management, software development practices, and logical access controls.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, regulators, and law‑enforcement on audit issues and provide expert testimony when required.
• Execute operational, compliance, financial, and investigative audits as assigned.
• Monitor computer networks for mismanagement, fraud, inefficiency, or abuse.
• Ensure audit practices align with internal policies and regulatory standards while promoting efficiency.
